Each Iwi must provide one person to assist with Court Convening duties on two occasions during the National Māori Tournament.

• Once during the Rangatahi days, and
• Once during the Taipakeke days.

A schedule will be circulated prior to the tournament and will also be available at the Control Room for sign-up.

Court Convening involves:  

• reminding teams to provide scorebench personnel  
• checking referees are ready to start game – contact TC if refs are not present 
• operating game clock (games to start on time, even if refs are not present) 

All players must be regsitered by 24 January 2027 on GameDay regardless of whether they are playing the first game or not. No additional names can be added once the first game has started. 

A scoresheet may be used if the GameDay systems are down. All players will be cross-checked by the control room following the games where score sheets are used to vefiry player registration.
